Mitchell F. Green

Partner

Mitchell F. Green is a partner in Kramer Green PA. He earned both his Juris Doctor and Master of Law in Taxation from the University of Miami and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Florida Bar’s Business Law and Health Law Sections and the American Health Lawyers Association. He has focused his practice on Health Law, Corporate Law, Estate Planning, Probate, and Asset Protection Planning for over 40 years.

His work in Health Law includes the formation and structuring of group practices, healthcare joint ventures, and the organization, sale, and acquisition of medical practices, as well as fraud and abuse and Stark self-referral issues. His Corporate Law practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, including the purchase and sale of businesses, while his Asset Protection work involves developing wealth preservation strategies and organizational structures to maximize tax benefits and minimize creditor risk. In Estate Planning and Probate, he prepares wills, trusts, advance directives, and handles probate administration.

He publishes “Legal Beat,” an e-legal newsletter with more than 7,500 professional subscribers, and is a frequent lecturer on Health Law, Asset Protection, and Estate Planning.

Mr. Green has served on the Board of Directors of the Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation, as well as serving on the Legacy Committee of both foundations for more than 25 years. He also served pro bono as General Counsel for the David Posnack Jewish Community Center in Davie, Florida and was a co-chair of the 2023 JCC Maccabi Games® in Broward County.

His practice focuses on Health Law, Asset Protection, Corporate Law (including Mergers and Acquisitions), Estate Planning and Probate.
